Multiple clients

Multiple Contacts on a Precedent

When creating a precedent in a matter with more than one client on separate cards, you now can address it to all clients.

After selecting a precedent, you will be able to Ctrl (or Shift) + click more than one recipient. A copy of the precedent will be generated for each recipient selected.

Create Multiple Precedents for One Client

In the precedent list, if you select more than one precedent whilst holding Ctrl, you can generate more than one precedent at a time.

If you have multiple clients on a matter, you will be prompted as to which client you wish to create the precedent for.

MAR cover letter

Invoice Cover Letter

The Invoice Cover Letter allows you to create a detailed and customised narrative for your invoices.
This will replace the Invoice Summary tab within the Invoice window.
From the Invoice window, click on Edit Cover Letter to open the default cover letter precedent in Microsoft Word.
You can insert links to correspondence items relevant to the invoice or any relevant fields to auto populate data from the LEAP matter

MAR Activity Settings

Time Entry Settings

Time Entry Settings is a precise and customisable way of creating MAR entries. It will provide you with the ability to do the following:

• Adjust the grouping of activities on time entries (where relevant)

• Assign an activity code to a group

• Set dynamic billing descriptions with fields derived based on the resource and activities

Staff signature

Staff Signature Fields

New staff signature fields have been added to allow you to quickly add staff signatures into documents. The images of the signatures are based off the image uploaded from LEAP Menu > Settings > Application Settings > Firm > Staff > Members > Staff Member > Additional Details tab.

Within a Word document, you can insert fields for:
- Current User, Person Acting, Person Assisting, or Person Responsible.

SHortcut to card

Copy Documents to Card and Document Register

From a matter, you can copy documents to a card, create a shortcut to the document on a card, or copy documents to the Document Register.

You can also now copy documents from a card in to your matter.

Set Invoice Date

Enhanced Functionality in Bulk Accounting

  • Set Invoice Date option in Create Invoice window

  • Set Invoice Date option on Change Invoice Status window

  • 'All' added as additional filter for the Receipted Status in the Invoice Mailing window

Time and Fees

Additional filters in Global Time & Fees window

You can now filter the Global Time & Fees window by 'Created By Staff' and 'Activity Code'.

Rename comment

Renaming Comments

You can now enter a Document Name when creating a new comment that will display in the correspondence list. You will also be able to rename the comment simply by opening the comment and editing the Document Name

Order Tasks

Sorting Tasks by column header

Tasks can be sorted in the matter by clicking the column heading. Your sorting preferences will be remembered across matters.

Bank Deposit

Sorting Bank Deposits

You can now sort the list of bank deposits by: Transaction Date, Entry Date, Receipt No., Payment Type, or Amount.

Birth date

Age Display

If a Date of Birth is entered, the card will display the age of the person.

If the person is deceased, with a Date of Death entered, the age at death will display next to the field.

Gender

Gender Option Changes

The button for unknown genders has been changed to 'Other'.
