I met Sarah Martin-Lewis the first day that LEAP was installed at Mackey Wales Law in 2010. I thought that Sarah had a great understanding of the product, she put apprehensive staff at ease, and was always happy to help and find ways to assist our practice through LEAP.

There are many moments where I have thought that Sarah went beyond her duty to assist Mackey Wales. She is always willing to help if we have a problem that we cannot solve or provide solutions to reporting or document plans that we are trying to put in place.

We decided to get LEAP after my Partner and I attended a Leap Seminar at Jupiter's in Townsville. I was amazed with some of the features of the software. It seemed easy to use and beneficial for fee earners as well as administration staff.

The initial set-up and installation process for LEAP was relatively smooth. There was a fair bit of planning and co-ordination going into the changeover and entry of data, but LEAP managed to get us up and going in no time at all.

Since we installed LEAP, everything is now at the touch of a button. We have a myriad of reports that can be printed immediately to monitor billings, cashflow, and trust account entries. We are now easily monitoring important KPI's daily.

As one of the Principals of the firm, LEAP benefits me in a number of ways. I find LEAP reports for various staff items such as billings, WIP, cashflow, and matters opened extremely useful. I also find the ease of creating and using templates means we have precedents for new work set up quickly and efficiently.

I also find it convenient to have integrated legal searching. It makes ordering searches quicker and therefore time and cost effective. Search costs automatically flow through to LEAP Accounting so that we ensure costs are recovered.

LEAP has positively impacted our business through increased productivity within the firm from junior staff level to principal level. LEAP increases the level of efficiency within the practice and assists with time management and reporting to managers. Also, knowing that there is a local HelpDesk team at LEAP is reassuring and of great assistance. All in all we are very happy with our choice and would not hesitate to recommend LEAP!
